2010 Richard J. Miskiv Memorial National FOCA Scholarships

Based on 2009 National Convention action in Hartford, Conn., National FOCA scholarships have been suspended for the year 2010 with those funds earmarked for travel expenses for the Reorganization Committee. In light of that, the trustees of the Richard J. Miskiv Memorial Scholarship Fund, based in New Jersey, have graciously offered to provide $5,000 in National Scholarships for the year 2010. The application and judging process will remain the same, with the deadline now extended until May 31, 2010. Scholarship forms may be found at http://orthodoxfellowship.org/scholarships.

Richard Miskiv was a very active member of the FROC/FOCA on the local chapter, NJ District and National level. His untimely passing at the age of 50 led to the establishment of a memorial scholarship fund with annual awards to members of the New Jersey District as well as graduating student at Garfield High School, where Richard is a member of its Athletic Hall of Fame.
